Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all our bikes and should be confirmed by the primary hirer who should make all members of their party aware of them. 

The primary hirer must be over 18 years old and sign on behalf of all children under the age of 18 and have the authority of a parent or guardian to do so. All riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

• Cycling can be dangerous and on rare occasions result in injury or even death. Safety precautions should be taken at all times. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and members of your party are fit and healthy enough to undertake the planned activity.

• We will issue modern well serviced bikes which are configured for the UK, we will not change the braking systems for overseas visitors. You  are responsible for ensuring the safety of the bikes and equipment during the hire period and that they are used in a safe and proper manner.

• You and fellow members of your group are responsible for keeping all equipment hired to you safe from theft, loss or damage. You are responsible for reporting any damage no matter how that damage is caused. You will also be responsible for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.

• Please report any defect or problem you encounter during the hire period, any fault or puncture will be repaired free of charge or a replacement bike issued.

• Our bikes must not be used in any competition or organised event during the hire period without prior agreement.

• You are responsible for the return of our bikes or equipment at the time agreed. Failure to do so may incur an additional charge.

• We may well ask for photo ID and keep the ID with us until the bikes or equipment are returned.

• We reserve the right to withhold a hire if we consider it be a risk to you or a member of your party. This will be solely at our discretion.

• You and members of your group will ride responsibly at all times. You will not hold Beics Padarn Bikes responsible for any loss, damage, injury or death, unless it is caused by negligence on our part. Apart from death or personal injury our total  liability in any case will be limited to the total cost of the hire agreement.

• Cycle helmets must be worn when riding and we can provide helmets on request. Please ensuring that all participants especially children listen carefully to the safety briefing from our staff.

• You will be responsible for ensuring that you or any member of your group are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs while riding our bikes.
